ACTIVITIES OF THE BAIPM

Archive of news5 December 2006The Executive Director and the leadership of Supervisory Board of AIPM Belarus had a meeting with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Zharko V.I. and the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Mr.Shevchuk V. E. During the meeting the topical questions of pharmaceutical market of Belarus were discussed and the ways of development of strategic partnership between AIPM and Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus were outlined. The parts decided to hold the International Symposium on innovation in public care in April 2007 in Minsk, which will be included in the schedule of arrangements, carried out by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus in 2007. 14 November 2006 In library of the personal cabinet is published Code marketing practical persons to Assotiations of the international pharmaceutical producers (AIPM) in Republic Belarus. 11 - 13 October 2006 23 IFPMA Assembly was held in Geneva (Switzerland). Executive Director of AIPM in the Republic of Belarus Mr.Sychov and Chairman of Supervisory Board Mr.Ladygin took part in that event. During the Assembly?s meetings they discussed the issues on public health and pharmaceutical industry development all over the world, on counterfeiting, neglected diseases and epidemics, reimbursement systems in healthcare of different countries. The IFPMA Secretariat organized the meetings with WHO General Director Dr.Anders Nordström and WTO General Director Mr.Pascal Lamy. The participators of the Assembly, represented the biggest R&D pharmaceutical companies, state and governmental organizations from different countries of the world, appreciated the adoption in the Republic of Belarus of the Code of marketing practice of AIPM, corresponding to international standards in this field, and the approval of the Code regulations by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus. The representatives of AIPM in the Republic of Belarus during the forum were negotiating with the leadership of European Pharmacopoeia on the questions of acceptance of the Republic of Belarus in this organization and the possibility of using of the regulations of European Pharmacopoeia for working up Pharmacopoeia of the Republic of Belarus. At IFPMA Council meeting a new President for 2006 -2008 has been nominated — Mr. Fred Hassan (Chairman& CEO SCHERING-PLOUGH). 29 of September, 2006 Common meeting of AIPM (Republic of Belarus) members took place. The item of agenda was: consideration of application from the company «Novartis Pharma Services AG» on entry into the Association. We are glad to congratulate fresh member of our Association — company «Novartis Pharma Services AG». We hope that you will find membership of the Association to be useful and your company will play an active part in the Association’s affairs. 8 September 2006 «Pharmsodruzhestvo» will hold its first Constituent Forum in Kiev (Ukraine) at conference-hall of «President-hotel Kievsky» The objects of Forum are: to join the specialists? energies, the efforts of public unions and pharmaceutical organizations in settling of common issues in the fields of drug and other medical products circulation in CIS-countries; to create a united economic area and civilized pharmaceutical market without counterfeiting. The programme of Forum includes the next issues: harmonization of regulatory standards to medicine in CIS-countries; prevention of drug counterfeit circulation; development of economic area; role of international and pharmaceutical manufacturers on the territory of CIS-countries; role of associations in development of pharmaceutical market and prospect for development of the project «Pharmsodruzhestvo». In the context of the forum there will be a conference dedicated to «Pharmsodruzhestvo» activity. The conference will be covered in mass media in CIS-countries. 11 Jule 2006 Common meeting of members of Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers took place. The Executive Director of the Association Mr.Sychev informed the presented about the job, carried out by the Secretariat of AIPM during past calendar year. The Chairman of Supervisory Board Mr.Zozulya told the presented about the activities of Supervisory Board for the period from 16.06.2005 till 16.06.2006. According to the AIPM Statutes the rotation of post of a chairman of Supervisory Board took place. The credentials of a Chairman of the Supervisory Board have passed to Mr.Ladygin. The common meeting outlined the basic objects of Association for the forthcoming calendar year. 18 June 2006 Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers in the Republic of Belarus congratulates all medics on their professional holiday - Day of Medical Worker! We wish You happiness, good luck and every success in Your profession! 31 May - 1 June R Zozulya and Mr.Sychev took part in IFPMA Council and Directors Meetings which were held in Lissabon. The problems concerning Clinical Trials and Clinical Trials Portal, new Code of Marketing Practice, forthcoming IFPMA Biennial Assembly (11 -12 October 2006), Avian Flu Pandemic, Counterfeiting issues and IMPACT were discussed at the meetings. The next meeting is planning to be held in Geneva on 11 of October 2006. 23 May 2006 was held press-conference of Interfax Northwest office (St. Petersburg), devoted to subscription of the declaration of cooperation. The declaration determines the basic norms of interactions within noncommercial project «Pharmcommunity». For AIPM members more information is in the personal study. 17 May 2006 Took place the united meeting of AIPM members and directors of enterprises of system «Pharmatsya», where the proposals of Association on improvement of drug supply of the citizens of the Republic of Belarus were discussed. The meeting resulted into elaboration of concrete decisions on amelioration of cooperation between the enterprises of system «Pharmatsya» and companies-members of AIPM. 11 May 2006 Was held the broadened meeting of AIPM (Republic of Belarus) Supervisory Board, where the problem of observance of Marketing Code was discussed. It was decided to organize the training for the staff of representatives on the question of the Code?s observance. The members of AIPM determined to organize the united meeting of the AIPM members and the representatives of «BelPharmatsya», Concern «Belbiopharm», Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Belarus, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus to improve the drug supply of the citizens of the Republic of Belarus and for protection of interests of AIPM companies. 6 May 2006 By the decision of Common Meeting of the members of Association the «Bionorica AG» company has been admitted as a new member. We are happy to extend a warm welcome to our new member. We hope that you will find membership of the Association to be useful and your company will play an active part in the Association’s affairs! 4 May 2006 Took place a united meeting of AIPM members with the deputies of the House of Representatives of National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. The presented were informed about the state of pharmaceutical market in the Republic of Belarus in 2005.The ethical norms of medicine promotion in Belarus, represented in recently adopted by AIPM members Code of Marketing Practice, were also on the schedule. The presented were told about the prospects of medicine development from the point of view of scientific-research pharmaceutical industry. In conclusion, the issues on appropriate pharmaceutical and distributing practice were discussed. 25 April 2006 By the decision of Common Meeting of the members of Association the "Alcon Pharmaceuticals Ltd." company has been admitted as a new member. We are happy to extend a warm welcome to our new member. We hope that you will find membership of the Association to be useful and your company will play an active part in the Association's affairs! 12 April 2006 Took place a joint meeting of medical-regulatory committee and committee on R&D image building. It has been planned to conduct a meeting with the deputies of Parliament of the Republic of Belarus and to hold a press conference with mass media about the state of pharmaceutical market in the Republic of Belarus at the beginning of May. *** By the decision of Common Meeting of the members of Association the "Nycomed" company has been admitted as a new member. We are happy to extend a warm welcome to our new member. We hope that you will find membership of the Association to be useful and your company will play an active part in the Association's affairs! 22 of March 2006 Common meeting of AIPM (Republic of Belarus) members took place. The main items of agenda were: consideration of applications from companies "Astellas", "Solvay Pharmaceuticals GmbH", "Wyeth Whitehall Export GmbH", "Les Laboratoires Servier" on entry into the Association; discussion and adoption of Ethic Code of Marketing Practice of AIPM. Also the proposals on improvement in drug supplying of citizens of the Republic of Belarus to the Government of the Republic of Belarus were discussed and adopted. Supervisory Board of AIPM and Secretariat congratulate the members with adoption of Code on Marketing Practice of AIPM. The adopted Code is the first self-regulated document on the rules of conduct in drug promotion. We are also glad to congratulate fresh members of our Association - companies "Astellas Pharma", "Solvay Pharmaceuticals GmbH", "Wyeth Whitehall Export GmbH", "Les Laboratoires Servier". We hope that you will find membership of the Association to be useful and your company will play an active part in the Association's affairs. 20 of February 2006 There was a regular BAIPM Supervisory Board meeting. The main items of agenda were: discussion of the 2006 year budget; discussion and adoption of Ethical Code of Marketing Practice of BAIPM; approval of BAIPM' half year plan of activities and other present day questions. 14 - 15 of February 2006 In Geneva in office of International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) took place IFPMA Directors' and Council Meetings. The Executive Director of BAIPM Mr.Sychev and the Chairman of Supervising Board Mr.Zozulia participated in these measures. The main items of agenda were: counterfeiting issues; vaccines update including avian pandemic influenza threat; Marketing Code decision; intellectual property and access to medicines; development of Clinical Trials Portal. 26 of January 2006 The International scientific symposium "Pharmcomunity-2006. Harmonization of the requirements to the pharmacovigilance in CIS-countries" took place in Minsk in the Palace of Republic. The symposium was organized by Belarusian Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, Intergovernmental Commission on standardization, registration and drugs' control of the CIS-countries, RUE "Centre of examinations and tests in public health", group of companies "Remedium". Outstanding scientists from Russia, The Republic of Belarus and Ukraine gave their view on the problem of harmonization of pharmacovigilance in the CIS-countries. The representatives of the largest scientific researching pharmaceutical companies shared the experiences of organizing of pharmacovigilance. Leaders of professional pharmaceutical public organizations of Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, the Republic of Kazakhstan summed up and told about further development of contemporary pharmaceutical market. The symposium resulted into the Resolution which is in the stage of revision now. This International symposium started a new cycle of measures, carried out by Intergovernmental Commission on standardization, registration and drugs control of the CIS-countries under the aegis "Pharmcomunity-2006". December 27 Took part the meeting of the officials of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and members of the Supervisory Board of Belarusian association of the international pharmaceutical manufacturers where the parties came to an agreement about cooperation and organization and realization of joint projects. In particular, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus should include the BAIPM into the list of organizations subjected to the compulsory distribution of normative documents, defining and controlling drugs' turnover, as well as will study the possibility of administrating the obligatory examination on the purity of the patent search during registration of the drugs. In its turn, BAIPM should present to the Ministry of Health RB its offers on organization and realization of the tender drugs purchasing promoting the concluding of the direct supply agreements with the foreign pharmaceutical manufacture. Work out and submit to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus for consideration and introduction of suggestions the Marketing Ethic Code of the BAIPM, draft of conception of the activities of the medical representatives in the Republic of Belarus, drafts of the branch standards "Proper drugstore practice", "Proper wholesale practice". November 30 By the decision of General Meeting of the members of Association the "Schering Plough AG" company has been admitted as a new member. November 22 Took place united meeting of deputies of the House of Representatives of National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and members of Belarusian association of the international manufacturers which resulted into resolution about the constant interaction in order to realize the information exchange on national healthcare development issues. Took place the meeting of the Market ethics committee of Belarusian association of the international manufacturers where was discussed the final stage of the BAIPM Ethical Code development on drugs promotion and control mechanisms of its executions. November 09, 2005 By the decision of General Meeting of the members of Association the "Schering AG" company has been admitted as a new member. November 01, 2005 Official letter that our Association has been admitted as a member of International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations, our Association will be a member of group 7 of the IFPMA. The General Director of the Federation expressed his hope that our Association will find membership of the Federation to be useful and members of our Association will play and active part in the Federation’s affairs. October 06, 2006 The fourth Meeting of the Supervisory Board was held on October 06, 2005 where were formed and filled up the staff vacancies of the BAIPM committees, and were discussed questions of cooperation with the legal companies “Borovtsev and Salej” and/or “Trust” on the matter of analytics of the documents defining drugs’ turnover, moreover was formed the budget of the Association till the end of 2005. The third extraordinary General Meeting of the members of the Association was held on October 06, 2005 where was defined the amount of annual fee for 2005. September 23, 2005 The third Meeting of the Supervisory Board was held on September 23, 2005 where was provided the information about implementation of BAIPM budget, continued the work on forming BAIPM Committees, and predicted budget of the Association till the end of 2005. Business meeting of the leading employees of RUP “Examination and trials Center in healthcare” and members of Supervisory Board of the Belarusian association of the international pharmaceutical manufacturers was held on September 23, 2005, where were discussed questions of possible cooperation, organization and holding the united actions. July 12, 2005 The second Meeting of the Supervisory Board was held on July 12, 2005 where were determined the main missions and activities of the BAIPM for the period of 2005 year, formed the Committees on the main BAIPM’s activities, examined and approved criteria of the BAIPM membership, and made a decision on working out the Ethical Code of the BAIPM marketing practice. June 17, 2005 The first extraordinary General Meeting of the members of the Association was held on June 17, 2005 where seven pharmaceutical companies were admitted to the Association, and the Supervisory Board was elected. The first Meeting of the Supervisory Board was held on June 17, 2005 where was elected the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and two of his Vice Chairmen, appointed the Executive Director and defined the budget of the Association and the amount of the entrance fee. On the second extraordinary General Meeting of the members of the Association which was held on June 17, 2005 were approved submitted by the Supervisory Board budget of the Association and the amount of the entrance fee. June 10, 2005 Belarusian association of international pharmaceutical manufacturers was registered in Belarus on June 10, 2005 by resolution of the executive committee of the City of Minsk number 970. |
